myGP Berkshire West SMS Campaign

On 1st of January 2023 users of the myGP app, who use easy sign-on, will no longer be able to access their practice using myGP. To maintain access, and also access additional capabilities such as ordering repeat prescriptions and accessing their medical record, users must switch to using secure NHS login.

This is a fully funded myGP SMS Campaign. At no cost to your practice, iPLATO Healthcare will send an SMS campaign to myGP app users, who use easy sign-on, at participating practices. This message will inform users of the actions they need to take to switch to NHS login and continue to access the myGP App.

The benefit of signing up to this campaign is to prevent an influx of calls to the practice, when easy sign-on is no longer active.

Data Processing and Data Sharing Summary

  1. iPLATO will facilitate the ongoing extraction of client demographic data via the practice clinical system phonebook, for which the data will be minimised as far as possible.
  2. All data is processed within the HSCN network.
  3. Only patients who have consented to receive SMS will be contacted.
  4. iPLATO Healthcare acts as a data processor for this service.
