Wigan Central PCN Cervical Web Booking Hub SMS PROGRAMME
Wigan central PCN has around 4,500 patients overdue their cervical screening. The myGP Population Health Team will send SMS messages on behalf of Wigan Central PCN, inviting women overdue their cervical screening to book an appointment. The SMS will contain a link that will allow patients to book the appointment through the myGP web booking page.

Wigan Central PCN Cervical Web Booking Hub SMS Programme
- iPlato Healthcare will be sending text messages to all consenting patients registered at practices across Wigan area.
- The myGP Population Health Team will send SMS messages on behalf of Wigan Central PCN, inviting women overdue their cervical screening to book an appointment.
- This SMS Programme will be in addition to any existing programmes. Please note that, upon sign up, no further interaction will be required by GP Practices.
- Each SMS will contain a unique link that will allow for booking through the myGP web booking page

Data Processing and Data Sharing Summary
- iPLATO will facilitate the ongoing extraction of client demographic data via the practice clinical system phonebook, for which the data will be minimised as far as possible.
- All data is processed within the HSCN network.
- Only patients who have consented to receive SMS will be contacted.
- iPLATO Healthcare acts as a data processor for this service.
